So, before we start with your first day of puppyhood, let’s arm ourselves with the tools and resources we will want at hand for building our wonderful relationship and fulfilling our puppyhood dreams with our new family member.
We have listed below some brilliant positive reinforcement based Dog training and information sources on YouTube that you should follow. There is a lot of information out there and a lot of it will not be helpful and can even be harmful to you and your dog and your relationship with each other. We have had dogs all our life and have found lots of really good fountains of knowledge that will help you bond with your saluki and do things that will AMAZE people; like becoming the first of your breed in the world, to achieve a Trick Dog Title!

Do Everything with POSITIVITY
That’s why it’s important to check your sources and ensure that they are proponents of all positive reinforcement based training. You don’t want to use anything which is based on Dominance Theory or Negative Reinforcement; these things will damage your relationship with your pup and are more likely to increase problem behaviors than diminish them.

Susan Garrett is a brilliant positive games based trainer that works a lot with shaping and clicker training with dogs, we really recommend joining her channel and website mailing list as it is full of awesome games and resources to teach you all the right ways to get were you want to go with your pup.
